Our gate hours are from 7am to 9pm daily.
Alamo Mini-Storage takes pride in the maintenance and cleanliness of our facilities, but pests can sometimes pose a problem just as they do in many homes and businesses. We take preventative measures for insects and rodents, but if you see any signs of their activity, please report it to us immediately.
Office hours are the hours of operation for the facility when the Resident Manager will be available to assist you with your storage needs or moving and packing supplies. These hours vary slightly among the different Alamo Mini-Storage properties. Gate hours are the hours your code can be used to open the access-controlled gate. These hours are 7am to 9pm every day of the year.
Our office is closed on the following days, but your gate access is still available:
They sure do! Resident managers are present at all our locations. They’re always happy to help.
Insurance is the responsibility of the customer. Storage facilities are not responsible for the contents of your unit. It is always a good idea to insure the goods you are intending to store. Before you buy insurance from the storage facility, check with your own agent, because sometimes your homeowner’s or renter’s policy will cover you for no extra cost. If not, the Resident Manager should provide you with an application for insurance at the time you rent your unit.
Some mini-storage facilities require you to go down a hallway and then up some stairs or an elevator, sometimes several floors, to access your storage space. All units at any Alamo Mini-Storage facility are accessible from ground level without having to carry your belongings up stairs or in an elevator.
Climate-controlled units are cooled and heated to protect your belongings from extremes in temperature and humidity. Climate-controlled units are available at most Alamo Mini-Storage locations.
Alamo Mini-Storage is proud to offer large, climate-controlled units with drive-up access at several of our facilities. Our insulated door keeps the climate control in while allowing you the most convenient access to your belongings.
Our facilities are all fully fenced with access control gates and video cameras.
We offer online bill pay and autopay. We also take cash and check payments.
You may provide your own lock or purchase a lock from us. Only you will have the keys to your lock.
Yes. We have boxes, tape, locks, and other packing supplies available for purchase.
Your Rental Agreement will give you specific rules for storage, but common sense will generally tell you what is not allowed for the protection of your belongings and those of your neighbors.
Perishables, plants, animals, explosives, combustible liquids and fuels, flammable or hazardous items, stolen or illegal goods are prohibited. Contact us if you have questions about a specific item.
There is a one-time deposit. This deposit is refundable when you move out, as long as your rent is paid up and your unit is clean. Compare this with most storage facilities that charge you a non-refundable administration fee of $20.00 or more.
A drive-up unit has a door that opens to the outside. These are usually larger units and generally have an eight-foot wide rollup door. A hallway unit is accessible from an interior hallway. These are usually smaller units with a swing door. They have the advantage of protection from the elements as you move your belongings into your space.
Store your recreational vehicle, boat or car in one of our outdoor parking spaces (not available at all locations). Enclosed storage available at our Eisenhauer Road Location in San Antonio. Outdoor parking is available at our Hutto Location.

Refrigerators and freezers should be completely emptied, thoroughly defrosted and cleaned and stored with doors slightly open. Place an open box of baking soda inside to help prevent odors.
Only the tenant is legally allowed to enter the storage space unless other arrangements have been made with the self-storage facility. If you want friends or family to have access to your space, you must notify the storage facility in writing. Contact your Resident Manager with any questions.
When moving out, please give at least ten days written notice, and be sure we have the correct address for mailing your deposit refund (if any). Take everything, and don’t leave any trash.
